INXS post- Hutchence - are they sell-outs?
I was never a massive INXS fan, so I'm not particularly passionate about this subject....however, everytime I see them with a new lead singer I can't help but feel they are totally selling-out and trading on their name
.
I would feel much more comfortable with it if they went on, found a new lead singer and changed their name.
There's just something that feels really wrong about it and, as a result, it doesn't matter if they release something decent, I just can't ever get into it. I wonder if I would feel differently if they just didn't call themselves INXS!
I am interested to know what others think, particularly hard-core fans of the band when Michael Hutchence was still around.
