Question:
Is it legal to download songs from an album that's no longer in distribution?
I want to download "Angels" by Augustana from the album Midwest Skies and Sleepless Mondays.
This is what the album's Wikipedia page says about it:
Midwest Skies and Sleepless Mondays is Augustana's first album, released before the band was signed to a label. The album was released at shows in 2003 and about 1000 copies were sold. It is currently unavailable, and all of the album's songs are available on file-sharing services.
So would that be legal or not?

It would still be illegal because you are stealing the song and not paying for it.
However since the music is virtually unknown, I doubt they'll start a hunting party for you. Happy DLing =)
