I am auditioning for American Idol in August and need SONG IDEAS... any suggestions?
I will be auditioning on August 10 in Omaha for American Idol and have a strong belting voice (like Kelly Clarkson and Christina Aguilera). I need original songs that would sound good for my voice. Any ideas for good songs that you can belt and sound good a cappella (without music) would be greatly appreciated!!!

Try checking out some work by Lara Fabian and Anastacia, they are 2 amazing vocalists, great for people with powerful voices, and both are HUGE artists, but not that well recognized in the USA <Lara is huge in canada has multiple french releases and 2 english releases, Anastacia is huge in europe>
