Why do my guitar strings go out of tune so quickly?!

Why do my guitar strings go out of tune so quickly?
Well, I was asked to post this question again =)
But my strings go out of tune very quickly, right after I finish tuning, my first two strings go out of tune.
How do I "stretch" my strings?

i was taught to stretch the stings by put your finger on the 12th fret on the string and pull the string up not alot and no to hard
