The letters on the side (EBGDAE) stand for the strings. It goes like this:

E (high)
B
G
D
A
E (low)

And the numbers stand for the frets you play. So this is what you would do:

E-----------------------------...
B------------2----------------...
G-----0---------0-------------...
D--------2--------------------...
A---3-------------------------...
E-----------------------------...

1. Put your finger on the 3rd fret of the A string. Pluck that string.
2. Play an open G.
3. Put your finger on the 2nd fret of the D string. Pluck that string.
4. Put your finger on the 2nd fret of the B string. Pluck that string.
5. Play an open G.

But if you want to play it fast (normal speed) it would be easier to get your fingers on those frets through the whole line. So you'd put a finger on the 2nd fret of the B string, put a finger on the 2nd fret of the D string, and put a finger on the 3rd fret of the A string. Then, pluck the strings in the order that they are. When you see a 0, just play that string open.
