What is a good way to practice sweep picking for guitar?
Sweep picking is one particular technique that i have a good deal of trouble with. Any ideas on how to practice this technique efficiently?
Answers:
Sweep picking IS very difficult. I would suggest practicing it very slowly and very accurately to a metronome. GRADUALLY increase the speed, like maybe one or two ticks a day, and you'll eventually pick it up.
Just don't try to get there too fast. It's really a tough technique to master!
