Floyd vs. Kahler?!

Question:

Floyd vs. Kahler?

Well, I've noticed that Kahler has a bridge setup that seems superior to a Floyd Rose, and I must say that, even with the stabilizer installed, I have never been a big Floyd fan. I'm wondering if anyone who has tried a REAL Kahler (not the cheap X-trem that comes on BC Rich's and other guitars) can offer me their feedback. How is the whammy tension? Does it stay in tune equally well? Is the locking nut on a Floyd better?

Answers:

Kahler indeed is superior; nicest thing about the Kahler is that you can detune (i was tuning down to C# at the time-death metal) the guitar & not have to mess with any tension springs or reset the bridge as you would need to on the Floyd.
The whammy tension remains the same also & is less rubbery than a Floyd.
I have replaced Floyds with Kahlers on 2 Jackson Kelly's & an Ibanez Jem, toss the Floyd in the rubbish~!
