De la soul's three feet high and rising?
i listened to it straight through yesterday and realized that although it was made 20 years ago, it had more relevant things to say to me than anything out now. of course its better than snap music but it was more relevant than heralded conscious albums like BE and food and liquor. isn't that ironic?

I think you are right that the cultural (hip-hop especially) relevancy of 3 Feet High and Rising has exponentially increased over time, but I think if you really want to listen to one of their albums that is truly ironic for the times we live in Stakes is High is your best bet. In my humble opinion, the best album they have done to date, maybe in my top five hip-hop albums all time.
