Answers:

Different companies call it different names...its a "VOCODER"...Peter Frampton used it....Bon Jovi used it on "livin On A prayer"...also called a talk box...there are effects out there called "humanizer" that takes a guitar note and turns it into "verbal words"....a guitar can be played through a "talk box"..not just by human voice...For the song you're talking about....you'll find the notes you need 2nd string (low to high)3rd fret with 1/2 step to 3/4step bends....Try it and you'll feel/hear the harmony along with the CD..time your 1/2 step bends and 3/4 bends to the CD and you're there....the first two "wow..wow" are 1/2 step bends up...2nd string 3rd fret....then comes a 3/4 bend up..and let it down slowly and add vibrato in time with CD and you're rockin it...experiment and have fun!! Rip it up!!
