hip hop has no heart now days. back in the day pac rapped about life and struggle, biggie rapped about the streets and hustle, and jay z rapped about real sh*t back then. that was sh*t that made u think and you could relate to it. rappers put thought into their music.

now we have artists (rappers are gone). today its all about a beat and a repetative hook. who says 'this is why i'm hot' 200 times and calls it a song? even jay z (who used to be so tight) is puttin garbage on his tracks. My fav song by him is 'lucky me' which is about hatin the money and star life... totally opposite of what he raps about now. there's no thought in the raps now, as long as it almost rhymes they'll use it. nas said hip hop is dead... i hope that's not true but hip hop is definately takin a nap.
