Singing high notes?!

Singing high notes?

ill put it this way...i sing with my head as if im not singing so trying to hit a high notes, thats difficult and my voice justs breaks.So how can i be good and sing with my chest using high notes?

errr the person that said to lie on the ground, you should ignore that bit because it's bad form and you can damage your vocal cords. stand up, shoulders slightly back in a relaxed position. If you really want to do the easy way there is a trick to singing high notes and that is to grunt then sing a high note, such as go *ugghh* then sing high note. Why does this work? when you grunt, your vocal cords come closer and for that instant since it is closer, you are able to hit higher notes. Eventually you should be able to hit notes without grunting. Grunting is more of a crutch until you're used to it. Oh and if your voice breaks, back off the air pressure. When you sing higher notes, you don't need as much air but this is also another crutch until you can sing high notes loud. Later you should be able to sing high notes at normal pressure but it won't happen until your muscles get used to it.
