I think 50 cent is ignorant to even say something like this. If Nas is educated so what that has nothing to do with his rapping. We need more educated men in the world. My opinion, but what yall think.
Read a book! Well, not according to 50. In a new interview with XXL Magazine, 50 Cent explains why he thinks Nas is no longer hot. The rapper says, “Nas is a really smart guy. He reads books constantly. We were around him on the Nastradamus tour. He was almost weirder than me ’cause we would go to breakfast and he’d be there reading a book. Conceptually, I think that’s what made him drift away from what his initial audience enjoys from him and why he’s not hot right now. He's feeding you too much information in the music and they don't actually want it. He's like a teacher."

I read that this morning on BET.Com. I understood. I think that he just makes the point of where Hip Hop is today. I'm not even mad at 50, but it goes to show that people lap up all this garbage that is playing on the radio and that is so popular. People are being bombarded by smut and triviality and real rappers like Nas whose lyrics are actually about something take a back seat. It's unfortunate.
