Old school songs?!

Old school songs?

Does anyone remember the 80s and 90s songs... they were much better than modern songs... most singers wrote and played their music and lyrics... and songs were varied and had different themes. Any1 have any favourites??
i mostly liked the fun and lively summer songs like the beach boys - wouldn't it be nice

I always remember "Three times a Lady" by the Commodores.

When I was at school (quite a number of years ago!) there never was anything like the posh proms they have nowadays but we did have the School Leaver's Disco!!

I remember dancing to this song with a teacher (called Nigel Partridge) whom I had a big crush on at the time!! A slow(ish) dance with my favourite teacher - it still makes me smile now!! LOL
