Why do some of my songs, under comments, have:00001151 0000114D 000035AD 000034D8 00027145 00027145 0000800...
When a mp3 file, right click, properties, summary, comments. I download my songs off limewire/torrents.
Answers:
Looks like a (md5?) hash. It's the result of a calculation on the contents (bits) of the file. You can use it to compare it to a file which you think is the same. If you get the same hash, then the 2 files are EXACTLY the same, bit for bit.
