Need help with lyrics and music?

ok i really want to start writeing music but i have no idea where to begin. I would really liek if someone could ust write down a list of things to do. On just what to do and what needs to be done and please explain what you mean so i can get a better understanding.

songs consist of meaningful lyrics that are kind of written like a poem..at least the good songs do. when i write songs, its when i have a relaxed mindset and when i'm alone in my room. think about what you love, what troubles you, and what you want to change in life. it could be anything, love, friendships, emotion, heartbreak.. jot down what you feel. best of luck!
