Answers:

Well if you don't want to go out and buy a tuner, just check out this free online metronome and click on "A4" and it will give you the correct pitch for the A string (the 5th one up).

And to get the rest of it from there, if you're new to guitar, is to pluck the A string on the 5th fret, and that's the pitch of the D string underneath, then pluck the D string on the 5th fret to get the pitch for the G string. Now the G string is the only odd one in the bunch, because the 5 other strings all use the 5th fret to get the pitch of the next string, but with the G string you use the 4th fret to get the pitch of the B string. And then the 5th fret of the B string to get the skinny E string. Then go back to the Fat E string and pluck it on the 5th fret to get it to match the pitch of the A string right under it. And then try playing along with a quick and easy song to make sure it sounds right, and if it doesn't, just play around with it for a bit until it sounds good.

Wow I just read over what i wrote and got a little confused myself.. I'm not that great at explaining things.. lol. But here's some kind of visual that might help make more sense: from top to bottom -> Fat E, A, D, G, B, skinny E. And if you want it a bit less confusing just let me know and I'll try to find a way to make it less confusing.
