Which sonic youth album should i buy?
i had this band recommended to me and i was wondering which would be a good album to start on. (by the way, i am a pink floyd, smiths, police, talking heads, and oasis fan.)

The critics will say Daydream Nation. It's a very good CD, but I still like Goo, Sister, & Dirty better. This is an awesome band that is still putting out very good music. I love the new song Incinerate. If you were to invest in the entire catalog, you would not be disappointed.
