I'd like the name of this song and the person who sang it?

i heard this song on d radio this morning its a southern tale i have no idea the name or the person who sang it but it talks about a guy who is in a bar drinking because his wife cheated on him and he was in the bar and some other guys were telling him of what happened or something like dat and he left the bar and went home for his gun.Then he went to the guys house and break in where he found the guy dead then he was hanged for the crime. the chorus includes something about innocent and hanged.
i really like this song and i'd like the name of it and the person who sang it.
