What are some of your favorite bands? Mine are the Beatles, the Doors, Motley Crue, Bananarama, the Cars, Bangles, Duran Duran, Guns N Roses, Rolling Stones and a lot more.

I agree with you about Bangles and Duran Duran. SOme of my other ones and I am going to limit this although I do have a lot of favorites as you would expect:
Aerosmith, Go Go's, ROXETTE, Bon Jovi, Gin Blossoms, Springsteen, Billy Joel
Notice I capitalized Roxette as they are my favorite of the favorites I guess you could say... anything 80s really.
