What are the best strings for an electric guitar?
No price limit, although please do include it. I have a Squier Fat Strat Affinity Series with a Frontman 15G amp. (yes, it's one of those stupid packages that comes with EVERYTHING INCLUDED TO HELP YOU STOP DREAMING, START PLAYING! in it. I know it sucks, but I can't afford a 5,000 PRS or a 2,000 Gibson.) I actually will be playing Dinosaur Jr., Nirvana, John Frusciante- Murderers, (I have never taken lessons, although I have a CD-ROM on my computer, so that song is my big project over the summer) some Bob Dylan, Velvet Underground, Beatles, and if I get good enough, Rush, Primus, and Pixies. :D

i use ernie ball slinkys. i use the top heavy over low style. i also like the mediums. they are fairly cheap.
