Guitar riffs?!

Guitar riffs?

Hey everybody...I'm 17 years old and have about two years experiance playing guitar under my belt now. I am into a lot of classic rock and metal but also like everything else. I am looking for some good songs to learn that will make me a BETTER guitar player whether it's a song or even just scales, thats fine (i should work on my scales) but anyways i emphaise better because i am looking for something challenging that will allow me to learn ....not just something easy to play. I have a Fender Stratocaster HWY1 model if that makes a difference to anybody...and on more thing links are not required (obviously) but they are very welcome.....links to the tabs that is....thanks for everybodies help it is greatly appreciated.

i'm kinda into playing blues right now but i'll take any suggestions.

I listen to alot of Pantera and Avenged Sevenfold. They both are really challenging but they are great bands. They use alot of scales in all of there songs.
