There was a UK indie band in the 1980s that made a whole load of wierd songs. Things like:
Time flies by when you're the driver of a train (steaming into Trumpton with a cargo of cocaine)
All I want for Christmas is a Dukla Prague away kit
and a number of others. The Dead Kennedys also made an album, I think, called 'Brighton Bomb', shortly after the IRA bombing of the Conservative party conference, and wrote songs called "Kill the poor" and "Holiday in Cambodia".
