Thank you so much I want to sing it at kareoke tonight and dedicate it to my parents because they will be there

I think different people interpret it in different ways, for some the 'you' in the song might be God, but for me i'd related it to those who love and support me like my family, friends and partner. its about how with them you feel invinmcible, and without them you are nothing because something abnout you raises you up to do things you would not have the courage to do alone.
I've heard he dedicates it to his parents at concerts.
