I have some questions about guitar?!

I have some questions about guitar?

I have a steel string acoustic guitar and I really wanna learn how to play it. I know how to read tabs, but the only cord i know is "a" cord. Is it frustrating when your in the learning process? Like I try to play the intro to "Smells like teen spirit" and my fingers just dont bend the right way and it feels very awkward. Any feedback or information would be greatly appreciated!

you need to get more coordination in your fingers and more strength i would suggest doing some workouts such as:

put your indenx finger on the first fret 1st string then strum then
put your middle finger on the second fret 1st string and strum then
put your ring finger on the third fret 1st string then strum then
put your little finger on the fourth fret 1st string then strum

then move on to the second string, third string, fourth string , fifth string and then the sixth string....

once you have mastered that it should sound clear and fast it will give you more coordination in your fingers and strength....

you can also try moving from different chords to another...

but remember to not get fusterated if you dont see improvment right away because it takes time, patients and practice...

i would also try different songs to play such as:
smoke on the water by deep purple
heart breaker by led zeppelin
whole lot of love by led zeppelin
and pretty much anything by acdc
