that was a trick question. of course he is. i just wanted some ignorant thug to try to make a case for Tupac or some crunk idiot to make a case for Lil Jon or some other nonsense. maybe some wanna be will give a shout out to M and M. (Rakim, Kwali, Mos Def, Amhad from 4th Ave Jones and Playdough all get 2nd place.) Common is the best. Well, maybe that moron that parties like a rock star is really the best. that's really intelligent and uplifting. Good for the community too. Maybe Common should tell young black women to take off their clothes and give dat man what he askin fo. that will help the struggle.

I'll tell you one thing; Common is quietly working his way up the list of greatest rappers of all time, over the last 10 years I dont think I could name an artist who is as consistent as him.....I would give Common top 10, maybe 6 is a stretch, but best rapper ever? no way....you must have forgotten that tupac talked about the struggles, no rapper to this day has influenced the people the way his voice did, you must have forgotten that Nas encouraged the youth to get educated, you must have forgotten KRS One's line of "real mc's spitting to uplift their people", also Rakim and Jay-z are better than Common...in my opinion putting him #1 off all time is taking your loyalty too far.
