Butterfly Kisses?
The other day I was listening to the song Butterfly Kisses sung by Bob Carlisle for the second time in my life. The first time was at church last Sunday when they showed a father/daughter picture powerpoint with Butterlfy Kisses as background music. On Friday I happened to be listening to a radio station I don't normally listen to and heard the song again.
As I listened to the song I thought.. are there any sons from
a mother to her son?
So as a mother of three boys my question is are there any songs from a mother to her son?
Can you tell me the name of the song and who sings it?
I do like the song Just the Two of Us sung by Will Smith
but since it is from a father to his son and has lyrics like
"..dad's ears and all.." , "..would I be man enough..?" and
"..man a little me.." I obviously can't relate to all the lyrics.

there's a country song ( I know Im not a huge fan of country) but the lyrics make me cry...it can be a mother to a son...or a son to his mother. It's called "I'll Wait for You"...and Im not sure of the singer, maybe Blake Shelton...but it's a newer song they play alot on the radio
