Rage Against / Rick Rubin / Grand Olympic?
It says that Rick Rubin 'produced' the live CD of the
Grand Olympic Auditorium show.
But what does that mean? Surely you record a show and thats it - maybe with a little sound enhancement.

Awesome show # 1. I'm a huge Rage fan.
There is a lot into producing something of that caliber. Even though it's a live show the concert is still mixed down extensively not to mention all the normal planning activites for such a show which was recorded outside and inside.

Sound companies
advertisement companies
Marketing companies
Security companies
Those are just to name a few items that the producer is responsible for overseeing besides the actual mix down of the recording, cover art etc.
