Calling all alt/rock music buffs...?

I really want to know the artist and name of this song. The genre sounds like alternative/rock and the group reminds me of Moby.

I've only heard the song about 2 times, so I'm not absolutely positive of the lyrics but i know that they do say "doo doo doo doo doo doo doo" a lot, and a gospel-like singer sings the chorus which goes something like: "I've been down harder babe/oh ever since the day we met"
