When I Google it it comes up with The Ramblers as the artist, but cant get any more details !!! I also thought it was St Winnifred's but no listing for it under them

the sparrow was a hit for the ramblers (from the abbey hey jr school).
it charted on 13 oct '79 and stayed in the charts for 15 weeks reaching no. 11 in the uk charts
