Whatever happened to the band Slipknot?
My friends are telling me the the lead singer Corey Taylor died or something, but others are telling me that they split up. Can someone please solve this problem cuz it would be a drag if Slipknot split up or if Corey Taylor died. I would really like to know PLEASE!

Corey Taylor is not dead. He is currently focusing on his side project Stone Sour.
Reformation and new album (2007-present)
On April 19, 2007, the band's website posted a news article stating that a new Slipknot album "will surface in 2008." Though Jordison explained in a recent Kerrang! Magazine interview that this album would be the heaviest they've ever made and recording shall commence in January of 2008. On April 19, 2007 Joey Jordison stated that he would be drumming for Korn in the summer of 2007.
