How do you find screamo appealing?!

How do you find screamo appealing?

i like punk rock and hard rock. i can appreciate classic rock and metal. heck, i can appreciate most music except top 40 pop. and this "screamo" stuff. what annoys me about it is how it sounds like gentle, overproduced pop rock instrumentals with one guy HOWLING his mascara covered face off for 5 minutes. and occaisionally whining. not that i don't like emotion in my music, but that stuff just painful to listen to. i mean, where's the speed, the aggression, the passion, the heaviness!?!?! so you tell me what you find appealing about this?

and i do dig screamed vocals. but only when they're backed by fitting music, and they're saying something worthwhile. and not for 10 minutes. i want my music LOUD.

and don't tell me about tastes. just tell me what you find appealing. and i find those mascara covered jocks to be ridiculous.

How i find screamo music appealing is when I'm in a bad mood i listen to it to help my feelings sort.
