Why do you like techno?!

Why do you like techno?

I just don't see how it could be so appealing to some people and I want to know why you like it.

I personally don't like it, but like I said I just want to know why it is so popular.

I mean people that listen to it and not dancing though. They just listen to it and stand there. Weird, eh? It's really repetitive.

well okay since you seem to be asking for real ... I thought that I "liked techno" until one of my co-workers introduced me to this music his friends had made, and I hated every single song. and I learned that there are like 100 different kinds of electronic music. mainly I like cheesier dance stuff just because it's fun and upbeat, sometimes I'm in the mood for that. it's also great for working out because of the beat. and I like trance because it can be very calming, good background music when I need to concentrate on something. but overall, I don't think of it as listening music, it's strictly background or mood music
