I love Dylan, Led Zep, the doors, the beatles, hendrix, marley....but want something different, new, etc i like modest mouse, white stripes, incubus, jack johnson.
If you like this kind of music what else has come out recently that you like? Need some new music..........

Try out Built To Spill in particular. They have a pretty classic rock friendly sound and if you like Modest Mouse you won't find the vocals objectionable. They do kind of a similar thing. Really awesome band (I'd start with Keep It Like A Secret or Perfect From Now On).
Also try out Wilco. They are really awesome. The new record is great. I also really enjoy A Ghost Is Born particularly.
Maybe Stephen Malkmus' most recent record Face The Truth
The Frank Black and the Catholics self titled record is fantastic.
