Question:

What type of music is The Foundations, The Temptations, Earth wind and fire?

would they be the 60s? 70s? what other musicians are there that are like them? i like their music. also al green, stevie wonder, etc...
Thanks

Answers:

Temptations: Motown. No one like them. Incomparable.
EWF: R&B, '70's style. Ditto.
Foundations: great '60's pop. You'd like Lovin' Spoonful w/John Sebastian too.
Al Green, Stevie Wonder - you have EXCELLENT taste.
Try also the great Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, Sam and Dave, 4 Tops.

Also: Foundations are NOT Motown. Their big hit was "Build Me Up Buttercup", a great song. They are also NOT '50's, they're 60's, EWF 70's. And OJays, etc. are not the same type - much more mellow.
