Is it wrong to be a white boy and like rap and hip hop?

thers tis person whos getin in my face about being white. he says i need to stick to rock and white stuff. i mean wats wrong wit bein white? i was born in the family i was born in. i cant help that. but i still like my family. tell me.

Now all I'm doing is keeping it real, so don't take this to any offense.Being a black person I was brought up listening to rap, and I learned about a lot of racism.You know the whole slavery thing.As I grew older I started noticing that only white people had rock bands and only black people rapped.I learned that this was because black people invented or discovered rap only for black people no other race.So when white people started listening to it some not all black people were furious.Today there a few white rappers but only a few.This person you speak may be one of those people who would rather blacks stick with blacks and whites stick with whites.Personally I do not care what race makes what kind of music, if I like a song than I like it.So what!What I would like to tell you is listen to whatever you want because no matter how many times this person gets in your face they will never have power over you unless you let them.
