Why is the song "Jesus Christ" by Brand New so fascinating??

I first heard "Jesus Christ" about 5 months and have been spellbound by it ever since. I consider it the best piece of music ever written.

I interpret it to be the heartfelt feelings of doubt in the existence of Heaven...I think every Christian has felt doubt at sometime or another.

Anybody else in love with "Jesus Christ"??
Interpretation ideas?

I just think the song is about Jesse feeling alone and feeling like he's made mistakes in his life that he hopes will be forgiven.

He seems to be wondering about what will happen when he dies and if he will be forgiven, or allowed into heaven... I dont think it's against God or question anything except for his own actions...

I think Jesse has shown this in others songs too... Like in 'You Wont Know' Jesse says, "They say in Heaven there's no husbands or wives but when I show up they'll be completely out of their forgiveness supply.".
Song is really amazing.............!
