me and my boyfriend are going to watch it tonight and i just wondered if someone could tell me what its about cos i am rubbish at following films and it annoys my boyfriend when i ask questions all the way through!.

It's about a monster attack on New York (I suppose a bit like Godzilla) but it's filmed through a video camera as if like a live documentary!.
I thought it was the 2nd best film of 2008 after The Dark Knight!. Phenomenal throughout!. Your boyfriend will love it!.
It's slow-starting, but once the first explosion goes off it's just incredible!. The beautiful thing about the video camera technique is that it feels like a simulator!. You are completely absorbed into the action!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It was alright but it kinda gave me a huge headache!. I saw it in theatres and because it was made to be a documentary inside of a film the camera was sloppy and moving all over the place!.

hi yes i have seen it at the cinema and i didnt enjoy it one bit!. one person in the cinema walked out half way and im geussing that was because it was so bad!. the funny camera angle got on my nervs and the what really made it bad for me was the fact that you dont fear for the characters like in a film if you think someone is going to die you get worried but you dont in this film because it is made badly so you dont really care i hope this is usefull for you :) pls email me on jameshesmsn@hotmail!.comWww@Enter-QA@Com
I couldn't watch it!. The camera-work is supposed to be "eye witness cell-phone" but just comes off as shaky and amatuerish!. It made me dizzy!.

basically its about a group of friends who are in new york and a big mutant creature comes and destroys the city!. there are a couple of jumpy bits and its shot using handheld cams at most points!. its not that good a movie to be honest!. my boyfriend fell asleep!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Alright, I'll tell you some stuff but for the most part you have to se the movie first before asking questions, 1!. It's NOT from outer space, it's actually a monster that lived in the ocean for thousands of years, 2!. It's only a baby and it's terrified!.3!. They never tell you but the company Rob is going to work for is a company called slusho and if you look closely to his brothers shirt (Jason) he has a Slusho shirt on, 4!. Slusho is owned by a company called "Tagruato" and it is an oil rig company, that's all I can tell you but if you rent the movie tonight watch it then go to scene selections and click 12-16 and wait about 2 minutes a chapter 17 will mysteriously appear click it but click the picture not the number ( the nuimber doesnt do anything) the it will bring you to this white screen with random numbers and letters on it, click the one on the left that ends in VD first and watch it in English or whatever you want to watch it in, the n go back and click the next one that ends in VD on the left and all of the mshould work except for number 1 (no point in it, i believe) and if they don't all work go on the computer and type in Jamieandteddy!.com it will ask for a password the password is jllovesth (jamie lascano loves teddy hanson) watch all of them and then on the DVD go back and go to the right side and click the one that ends in VD again and none of those work except for the last one but it's only a Slusho commercial!. It will tell you about the monster and almost everything else you ight want to know, the movie doesnt really leave open-ended questions open, it answers them just secrectley, and if you have seen Alias you would know what Slusho is (a slushy company with a secret ingidient in their slushies) and at the end of the movie, before the credits they are on a ferris wheel and you see something fall out of the sky into the water (to the right, above the boat) and it's not the monster, its a sattelite that is owned by Tagruato, that supposedly woke up the monster!.
also, ddon't pay attention to the camera angles jsut pay attention to the story and you mihgt like it ALOT!
