Question: Is Hostel based on actual events!?
I have heard that there are places where that type of thing actually goes in real life and you can pay big money to witness it!. Is that real or made up!? Not that I have any desire to visit anything like that!. Just curious!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Actually, Eli Roth was talking to his good friend Harry Knowles (Aintitcoolnews) and they were talking about the most disturbing things that they have seen on the internet, and Harry sent him a link to a foreign website, in which you could give them your credit card number and then walk into a room and kill somebody!. And half the money you paid goes to the family of the person you killed and half goes to the company!. Creepy huh!!

To my knowledge, Hostel is a completely fictional movie!. They actually have Hostels though, it's the name for hotel in European countries, but I don't think that any of the events in the movie are based on actual happenings!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
