Question: I was charged $21!.71 by blockbuster for late fees, Do I get to keep the movie!?
I went into blockbuster and was told i returned a movie late!.!.!.!.which i did, but the guy said "2 weeks", which it wasnt that late!. so he charged me 21!.71!.!.!.!.!.i paid and i left!. my question is, am i supposed to get to keep the movie!? since i paid that much!? 22 bucks!? on the receipt it says somethin like "keep it for $bla bla after a certain date"Www@Enter-QA@Com

If you already returned the movie, then no!.!.!. you don't get to keep it!. You might think that $20 is a lot to pay for just a late fee, but Blockbuster pays much more than that for each copy of the movies they have!. They buy the films under a different license (one that allows for rental) and in general pay about 5x what we - private owners - pay for a movie!.
If you still have the movie, then you may as well keep it, since it's out of their system now!. The systems at Blockbuster do not incur the late fees until the film is checked back in!. If it's not checked in then it will tell the employee that you still have films out, and that they are late!. If that is the case then they inform you that you have a late film out and at some stores they will refuse further rentals until the issue is resolved!.

Yea keep it, after 2 weeks they charge you for it, and once you pay its yours, if you want old movies for cheap you can rent them and some of them sell onto your account for like 3 dollarsWww@Enter-QA@Com

thats why i dont rent movies, i just buy the damn thing!. because i know later down the road if its a good movie ill end up watching it again!. and if i dont like the movie, i just go trade it in somewhere and buy somethin else!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
