Yahoo is reporting that Murphy will play The Riddler and Labeouf will play Robin in The Dark Knight sequel!.
Personally, this sounds like hogwash to me, especially seeing how Bale feels about the Robin character!.

The rumors regarding Eddie Murphy as The Riddler, Shia LaBeouf as Robin, Rachel Weisz as Catwoman were created by a UK Tabloid called "The Sun" and are not true!. Christopher Nolan, the director of the first two films, has not yet signed for a third film nor has a script even been written!. Nolan has publicly stated he will only do a third film if he can find a story strong enough to warrant another film!.
Now obviously there is going to be a third film, regardless of who directs it because The Dark Knight made so much money, but nothing has started as of yet!.
The Sun tabloid is widely known for spreading false information and simply just making up stories!. It is like the National Inquirer in the US!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think if Eddie is serious and really brings depth to the role this could be a great move for the new Batman Films!.
Robin should never see the light of day - Batman doesnt need a SideKick!. This is one part of the Epic Batman world I have never liked!. Robin is just there to get captured for Batman to save!.

Doesn't sound right to me either!. They managed to make the Joker modern and believable without sacrificing the traditional look and feel of the character!. I can't see them being able to do this with these villains (Riddler, possibly)- it would be a camp step backwards!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
