Just off the top of my head, I can think of 4 film scenes:
1!. At the end of the "Titanic" when the deceased Rose (Kate Winslet) walks up the winding staircase to join Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) who is standing there waiting for her (and all the other deceased passengers are happily watching)!.
2!. In the movie "The Notebook" when the nurse discovers that both Allie and Noah (Gena Rowlands and James Garner) have passed away during the night, holding each other!.
3!. In "Legends of the Fall" when Susannah (Julia Ormond) sees that Tristan (Brad Pitt) has returned (and she is married to his brother)!.
4!. In "Braveheart" when William Wallace (Mel Gibson) is about to be beheaded and looks out into the crowd of onlookers and sees the ghost of his beloved wife Murron (Catherine McCormack) smiling at him -- and he smiles back and screams "Freedom!"
