i went to watch it at the cinema the other day!.
i understand why his wife was killed and that and basically i understand the whole story!.!.
the only thing i dont understand is who chooses when the drug is going to kill you!? cause Max nearly died after taking it once, and others just randomly die!.!. like Natascha and Owen!.!. if you know can you help me pleaseeeeeee because its driving me crazy i hate it when i dont understand a film!

It was said earlier in the film that the drug only kills certain people, not all who take it!. You had to have, I believe, a gene or tendency that the drug accelerated; otherwise it killed you!. (Going on memory here, but that's close)Www@Enter-QA@Com
