I just got back from watching it (the midnight preimere)
and it was good but not SUPER GREAT!!!
(and i'm a die-hard-twilighter)
Don't get me wrong the movie was ok just i didn't like the camera angles and they didn't even once mention "Do i dazzle you!?"
but i still love some parts like the meadow scene Edward was so pretty in the sunlight i wanted to touch him!!! XD

The movie was extremely disappointing to me!.It changed almost every aspect of the book from dialogue to adding complete scenes that had no relevance to the book, Edward and Bella kissed once and that was supposed to convince the audience they were in love!? They made almost no other contact through out the movie, never confessed their love, and Edward spent too much of the movie acting suavely scary!. Bella and Edward's characters were awkward together, like to random people off the street asked to do a love scene!. I wasn't buying it!. I understand that they have to leave out certain parts of the book for time's sake, but it was the opposite, they left out the ENTIRE book!. No dramatic hotel/airport scene, no fall dance, no meadow scene, no edward spending the night, no lunches together talking about the logistics of being a vampire, let alone, barely any dialogue at all between the two of them period! I also didn't like how Charlie's character was portrayed as an uncaring asshole father!. The movie looked rushed and uncoordinated!. I looked more like a rough draft than a final project!. If you had never read the books, you would have been completely lost and have a bad taste in your mouth regarding the series!. Trust me, i'm not just some bitter reader out seeking revenge, I am a fan to the core and was just really let down when my favorite book which was portrayed like it was meant only for the eyes of 12 year olds!. Next movie, they need a new director who has at least read the book and knows what's going on!. Who understands the story line and the relationships between each character!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The meadow part was really cool, I thought they would go to over the top with the sparkles but it was perfect! The movie was good, but it seemed like they were making a farce of the book!. It seemed too comical!. They left out good parts and added new parts!. I just got back from seeing it too!. I thought it was good and i didnt really expect it to be amazing or anything especially because no one in it was like huge celebrities or anything!. I wish like you said she got "dazzled" and freaked out and stuff like that and the part at the hotel was no where near what was in the book!. I still liked it!.
