Question: I need a Christian review on Twilight! HELP!!?
My cousin has very much enjoyed the book twilight, and is looking forward to the movie!. But it has been my impression that the book is very immoral and bad!. Now I don't mean to judge the book without reading it, so I ask twilight readers that are christians as well, or not, to give me there opinion of the book!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

The boy said no to sex, but the girl started taking off her clothes she is so obsessed with him!. Even if they remain abstinent, these images of lust and want remain burned in the subconscious of the child's mind!. I am usually fairly open with my daughter, I let her see the Harry Potter movies that so many opposed!. As long as we can discuss something afterwards I usually let her, but after reading about the more subtle underlying themes, I have decided to forgo this one!. Pray about it!. For a Christian, hmm!.!.!. Well, it is a movie with the forbidden love theme which uses the fruit of Eden underlying theme, it promotes celibacy, which is obvious due to the tormenting tension between the two lead characters, and the whole good conquers evil!.
But the cons of the movie FOR CHRISTIANS, is the whole immortal vampire thing, but unlike other vampire movies, this one is more grounded in reality, than a fantasy world!. There is going to be ripping off heads, and then the whole "i love you but I want to kill you" thing!.
But, you shouldn't let your religious views effect your opinion on a movie anyway!. If you want to see, then see it!. It won't be as "gory as the Passion of Christ, I can tell you that!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I am going to read the book with my daughter then discuss the various themes that are in the book!. Hopefully discussions like that will help her grow and mature into a girl who knows how to make great decisions when I'm not around!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

In the beginning of New Moon(the second book in the series) Bella(main character) and Carslie(main character) have a convo about God!. She asks him if he believes in heaven and hell and God!. Of course, since he dosnt know what happens after one dies he says he does even though he'll never get to exprience it!.

Well, since vampires don't exist, it's fantasy and many Christians find that immoral!. These are "good" vampires though who fight some "bad" ones!. It's all fantasy and so if you realize that, it's ok to watch!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
