It's an OK film but certainly not the strongest film!. It feels really independent, almost like the filmmakers were amateurs!. The plot isn't particularly intriguing -- dysfunctional black sheep comes to family event and all kinds of skeletons come out of the closet!. We've seen it 100 times before!. There are times when scenes go on too long and start to make you wonder what they were thinking in not editing some of that out!.
However, it was worth seeing for Anne Hathaway's performance!. She's really good as Kym, who is released from rehab just long enough to attend her sister's wedding!. Her character has a lot of demons and some justifiable baggage, and she does a wonderful job conveying those through her performance!. She's certainly grown as an actress, and I think she'll have a good shot at an Oscar nomination thanks to this film!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
