Question: I don't understand the ending to the Haunting of Molly Hartley!?

Okay, when Molly was a baby, she died!. A woman (who ended up being her counselor) gave the parents a deal saying, I'll give you 18 years to have your daughter, but after that, she belongs to me!. So, her mom didn't want her in their service or whatever so she tried stabbing her!. The Christian girl believed in the same thing so she also tried to kill her!.
At the end, you find out that the counselor and the boy was in on the whole thing all along!.
When she tried stabbing herself instead of her dad, the clock had already struck midnight, she was eighteen, therefore, she already belonged to "them"!. So, pretty much, the ending is just how her life is after she gains that power or whatever!. Apparently she's valedictorian and very happy and everything's going good, but you also see a little bit of her darker side when she refuses to talk to her dad in the psych ward!.

She can not kill herself because she waited until after midnight and it was her birthday!.!.!.so she belonged to them already!. She became evil, gained control and power over others, lost all feelings towards her father b/c she changed!. The devil people made her father take the blame for the mom's death!.!.!.they disposed of the church girl's body so she wouldn't get in any trouble and now she has graduated and gone on to take over the world in the name of the devilWww@Enter-QA@Com
