Question: Has anyone ever dealt with "Columbia House" before!? 7 DVDs for $0!.49!? Is it a scam!?
I ordered 7 DVDs online at columbia house whatever for $0!.49 a piece!. It cost me $17!.00 (including shipping), but now I have a $19!.00 charge to my debit card!.
I haven't even receieved these "introductory" DVDs in the mail yet!.
If I wish to cancel, can I just return them!?

No!.!. it isn't a scam!.!. I had no problem getting my introductory stuff!.!.!. it was the OTHER part of the equation!.!. the stuff you have to buy later!.!. They give you a great deal on the first set, but then you pay more for all the required dvd's later!.!. (I think when I did it last it was 4 I had to buy!.!. ALL of them were over $30 + shipping and handling)!.!.!. I could have gone to the store and paid $13-$20 each!.!.
I'd double check your paperwork!.!. read ALL the fine print!.!. if you do not see anything about a $2 fee on there then call them up and ask why they took $2 more than the paper said!.!.
do NOT open the boxes if you plan on returning them!.!. if they are open YOU have to pay to ship them back!.!. if unopened they will either send you a sticker to return, or tell you to write Return to Sender on them!.!.!. (this is the one "scam" I know them to do!.!.!. I ordered a bunch of movies!.!. several were backordered!.!. so when another box came I opened it!.!. figuring it was the b/o'd ones!.!.!.!.the packing slip is inside the box, making it impossible to know what is inside without opening!.!. it was a duplicate shipment!.!. I had to pay to ship it back!.!. this happened at LEAST 3 times while I was a member!.!. that was finally why I quit!.!. (the 3rd time the movies were stolen from the box as I was getting the money together to ship it!.!. so I had to pay twice as much for the same movies)Www@Enter-QA@Com
