How does monomyth apply to james and the giant peach?!

So, the definition of a mono-myth is a basic pattern to repeats itself in many narratives from around the world!. In a mono-myth the hero begins a regular day and suddenly winds up in an extraordinary situation where a decisive victory is won!. Then the hero returns to every day life able to share the lessons learned with others!. If you apply this to James and the Giant Peach you can see where in the beginning James has accepted his fate in life (although sad) and then he suddenly winds up in the situation where her meets these creatures, his aunts are dead, and they are floating in a giant peach to New York!. He has a great victory when he makes it to New York and lives happily ever after, able to share the moral of the story with other people!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
