Question: Why is it that everyone in the movies have great jobs!?
Everyone is a doctor, book editor, owns production studio, self made millionaires, lawyer, and sooo on!.!. How come they never make any one a 1-800 operator for butter ball turkey's or a walmart greeter!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Have you ever seen the movie 'Clerks' or 'Clerks 2'!? Respectively, they work in a convenience store, a video store, and a greasy fast-food restaurant!.
EDIT: Well, being an owner of a convience store in a small hick town isn't very successful!. And it took them over 10 years to get there!.

Oh, but to answer your question: Most movies feature characters in great jobs that pay well but still give them enough free time to socialize, develop a family, have affairs, etc!. Why!? Movies = fantasy!. Most people like to fantasize!. Ergo, give the people what they want and you earn the monies!.
Most people don't want to watch movies where the guy has to scrape cow grease out of a hole, or mindlessly great people for no reason!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
