in the movie the shining, why are there all those random ghosts (the bear, and the old guy, mr!. brady!?) i didnt see the beginning so if you could help!.!.!.thanks!Www@Enter-QA@Com

They are 'part of the hotel'--it's previous victims!. Just like Mr!. Grady became part of the hotel once he killed his family and then himself, Jack joins the 'staff,' too once he dies in the snowstorm!.

I saw the movie once and when I was very young, but if I remember correctly, jack's character in the movie was losing his mind, and the other people he came into contact with besides his wife and son, were just a part of his imagination!. again I am not positive on this as a fact, so I will have to watch that movie again to make sure!. I don't remember a bear being in the movie!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
